MEET THE ARTIST
Mute-Chan
Hiya, before I introduce myself, I'd like to thank you very much for visiting my website and viewing my work, it really means a lot to me.

My name is Amanda Woloschek, but on the internet I go by Mute, or Mute-Chan. I'm 19 years old, and I am from Clearwater, FL. For the most part, I'm a self-taught artist, and have been since 2012. My biggest inspirations for getting into art were animated shows. Series like Dragon Ball Z, and Avatar the Last Airbender, were major parts of my childhood. And so, just like how there were characters I favored in those shows, I practiced towards making characters of my own that I also grew to love. My interest eventually spread towards video games, including titles such as Persona 3, Pokemon Black, and Fire Emblem Awakening, where I was especially interested with the character designs. And with gaining more interests it motivated me to create more fan art, along with some of my original pieces.
I tend to use digital software (such as PaintToolSAI and Photoshop) and traditional mediums (like pencil (mechanical), and pen (ball-point or inking)), but I am also looking to open up and experiment with methods that I haven't used before, or haven't picked up in a long time (I recently started picking animation back up after leaving it behind for a couple of years). And being that I aspire to be a professional freelance illustrator and concept artist, I feel like it's best to try to improve and explore myself with different materials. I created this site to showcase what I'm passionate about in a way that is clean and the most accurate. And I hope I have made that message clear. And lastly, thank you again so much, for supporting me and what I love to do.
